I attended a 'Invitation to Sociology' lecture.

The lecture that consists of English was really interesting to me.

I think that this lecture can enhance my English skills and sociology knowledge.

The first lecture had important Two topics.

The first topic is 'Why does fashion change?' and second topic is 'Why is starcraft so popular in Korea?'

This two topics look like very simple question, but this topics are based on very various cause.

Topic 1. Why does fashion change 

First, What is fashion?

Fashion is Certain types of abdominal hair and trendy at a particular time.

I tend to follow the trend.
So I was interested to changes in fashion.
I think that why does fashion change is caused by economy development and technology development.

In the past when many countries were so poor, ordinary people's clothes were focused on living. 

but nowadays people's clothes are focused on appearance and unique.

And the past when many countries's technology didn't develop like nowadays, clothes's development has limit. 

but nowadays many countries and company have high technology. 

So many clothes can develop design and quality. And people wanna this clothes developed.

Topic 2. Why Starcraft is so popular in korea?

First, What is Starcraft?
StarCraft is a strategy simulation game released in 1998.
Starcraft has revolutionized the Korea gaming market.

I think one of the reason 'why Starcraft is so popular in Korea' is Korea faces situation in war.

North Korea and South Korea are having scar of war.

And this two countries still concern recurrence of war.

I think Starcraft is a game that reflect this concern very well.

So many Korean have interested in this game.

and another reason 'why Starcraft is so popular in Korea' is most of Korean are eager for success in competition.

Korean should live and fight in competition until they die.

I think Starcraft is a game that reflect this competition very well.

So Korean get pleasure of success in competition through this game.

Epilogue 
       

Through 'Invitation to Sociology' lecture I can recognize that a social phenomenon is caused by many various reason.

Through Next lecture I wanna learn more enlightenment.
