There are many war in past and now. Past war is simple. Past war is  battle between human and human. The number of soldier is important in past war. Over time, science is developed. And weapon is developed with science. That made terrible weapon. New weapon killed many people once. Soldier is not important. And casualties were changed. Casualties was soldier in past war. But casualties is citizenry in modern war. Main difference is the number of casualties. The number of casualties is increasing largely. 
Modern most dangerous weapon is 'Nuclear bomb'. Nuclear bomb killed about one hundred thousand people once. Perhaps it may be more strong. Maybe happen nuclear war, human may be extinct. So we desert nuclear weapon. This weapons make human is extinct. The war is happening in the world. Small war will make big war. As a result, we keep off war.
