And farming was job of both depending of its part. Also, to protect their survival requirements, they have to be big-sized. So that other groups of people cannot approach and threat.

 In industrial society and modern society, small-sized families is usuall. Because there are no need to specialization in home. In family's place, resting and healing(not only body but also mind) is enough. And supporting many members in family is hard work. So usual people in today's society live in small-sized families.

Do you think that entire world can become democratic?

These days, there are more part of world becoming democratic. Number of non-democratic world is less than democratic one. Therefore, making entire world democratic can be possible. But it would be hard work because of small part of world.

 Some place in world, there are some non-educated people,non-spontaneous people. And there are many non-politicaly interested people. So educating and involving former people, will require lots of efforts. But this one is possible thanks to many Non-Governmental Organizations(NGOs). But later one is big problem. Because usual non-politicaly interested people thinks that "Politics? That's just leauge of their own." "I don't care how world goes on.". Because most of them saw democracy's problem, or bad situation in process of being democratic. So involving them into democracy may take efforts. But this would be solved by other democracy-supporting people(or group). Experiencing and participating into democracy is one good way.

Development of the smartphone has brought us many benefits. We able to easily communicate with people who are far away. So in this post, I will write about SNS.

SNS is abbreviation about social networking service. It is service that helps rainforcing relationship with new or existing personal connections at online. We can easily say to the unfriendly people in SNS. And it can help to contact to people that do not be contacted for a long time.

In Korea, facebook, kakaotalk, twitter and etc have a lot of users. As smartphone spreads, these SNSes also spread. When we commute, most people are touching the smartphone. And they are doing SNS with their smartphone. They chat with friends or lover in kakaotalk. They watch daily routine of acquaintances and upload their routine in facebook or twitter.

Excessive use of SNS is harmful. If you use SNS excessively, your information will easily exposed at online. It can be the victim of the crime. And when you get the job, post that you left without think will be a problem. 
I think that SNS is major cause of smartphone addiction. We should use SNS while controlling.

Racism is a discrimination by human race. Basically, this is a exclusivism that hostile behavior by the notion that human's race division is meaningful. This is maybe conscious or unconscious of disregard of other race. This racism person think many ethnic could hierarchize. But it have not justified any factors. Discrimination by hereditary things. It couldn't choice, it is innate. Everybody have innate feature and it is different not wrong. So under any circumstance, there is no racism.

Development of the internet has brought us many benefits. We able to easily communicate with people who are far away. So in this post, I will write about blog.

Blog that is abbreviation for Web log appeared in 1994 by Justin Hall. he started an online diary. This is first blog. In short, blog is normal web site where people can freely post according to their own interests. Actually many people use blog and upload their daily life at there.

Development of blog was contributed to development of internet. In the past that before the development of the internet, one man presented the opinion that is about blog. But Everyone ignored his comment. He went ahead an era. Later, when the blog which is equal that he proposed came into the world, maybe he would got bitter heart.

We use blog at lecture 'invitation to sociology'. This is part of class. We totalized what we learned in the week through a blog post. It was really helpful. As class is progressed in English, there was a need to organize independently at home.

Happiness index is percentage about happiness of people. OECD researches each country’s happiness of people index annually. South Korea always appear at the bottom of list. Then why South Korea appear at the bottom of list?

 

I think that the reason is keen competition of our society. There are many kinds of competition in our society. For example, competition exist among the students at the school. They always compete with their friends for better and higher grade. So they can’t take a rest. Even they can’t believe their friends. Therefore, they can’t feel happiness during their school days. Another example is competition in company. In conclusion, many Korean people continued to try to think on that competition without their time.

 

Therefore, To improve Korean people’s happiness index, Government shouldn’t foster competitive atmosphere among people.

 Public space is place  for many people. So people use the space in various ways. For example, people are talking to a friend or people take a rest in this space. Then what is a successful public space? 

First, I think that the space with the shade is the successful public space. Because people can see a friend easily in the shade. So peopl can talk to a friend, doing eye contact.
Second, the element of the successful public space is preper temperature. Because people sweat a lot on a hot day. Also people feel the cold badly on a cold day. So proper temperature is important as the element of the successful public space.
Finally, the factor of the successful public space is cleanliness. Because people usually like clean space. If people are in the dirty space, people wouldn't endure bad smell in the dirty space.

The world is divided into five continents. And It is blocked by a large sea. So in the past, the exchanges between continents were rare. in the current, there is a lot of diffrent of culture.
The 21st century is the global era. We can easily encounter foreign in online and offline. To better survive at global era, we have to understand the cultural differences.

I met a boy who comes from jordan during a vacation. When I met him and his sister who is 28years old and student of Seoul National University she didn`t eat anything until 8p,m. I didn`t know why she did not eat. In his country, there is ramadan that is fasting period. Ramadan is September in the Islamic calendar that is the hottest month. And they don`t eat pork. So when I met him, we eat other stuff except for pork. It is a little uncomfortable, but it will be fine if I understand.
 
Culture eating dog meat of Korea is thought at overseas. they should not despise for this reason that it is diffrent compared to their culture. Eating dog also just the culture of the one country.

So parents send their child to English kindergarten for English language education.

Then Why people effort to learn about English and to speak in English?

I think that the reason is relate to country strength. Because today, the most powerful country is the United States in the world. The United States use English. So Korean people need to learn English. Because Korean people want to push into the America market. Also English is a world common language. Because many country use English. So when people travel the world, English skill is necessary.

 

But Nowaday, China as well as the United States has improved rapidly over the years. So I think that the world common language can change from English to Chinese.

Smartphone makes extend of wireless network service and it lead SNS' popular. In South Korea, Facebook and Twitter users are over 10,000,000 that means 1 person in 5 people uses SNS in Korea. SNS' marketing value also rise with users' rising.

In the world, there are many religion. The number of religion and god is countless. From the past, many people have been obtained psychological stability from religion that they believe. Do you think god exist? I do not agree. I think that people produce fictional characters who is god because they need a place to lean on. When they are tough, when they rationalize their behavior, when they need an answer but nobody around them, they find their god. 

Korea has a lot of people who believe in christianity. they pray to Jesus. They think all that they are doing well is thanks to god. Good people will go to heaven. In contrast, bad people will go to hell. So if they behavior bad things, they beg forgiveness to god. nowadays a few christian people spoils appearance of Christianity. They think that religion they believe is the best. So they ignore the other religion for example buddhism. They tried to forcibly propagate their religion. This aspect can be found easily on the bus or subway. Of course, a small number of people do.

Family is formed by blood, marriage, adoption, closeness, and so on. It is a sharing community that their daily life, their income, food, and so on. Family' orient is same with human's orient. It is a basic form of community. It is very universal community but it's forms and functions are different every society. Many hypothesis are exist, like sex and blood community, residence community, love community, and so on. And It has many functions like satisfacting sexual desires, nurture kids, and so on. Family is very important in society.

I think happiness is a absolute value of people's life. Just thinking about me, I would not do that doesn't satisfy me. I do that satisfies me in any way. I think this situation doesn't occur only for me. It will be everybody's natural acting factor. Happiness is everything.

Ethnocentrism is completely egoistical ideology of one culture. Ethnocentric people look other culture by own culture. They think only their culture is superior than other culture. So they look other culture low with ignorance, prejudice, misunderstanding. Sinocentrism is a example of Ethnocentrism. Chinese called other countries '남만북적(southern and northern barbarians)' with emphasize their superiority. Ethnocentrism have positive and negative things. 

Positive thing

Ethnocentrism makes people being one. And It make people loving their own culture, continuing own culture, improving their culture.

Negative thing

Ethnocentrism people think only the national culture, and rejection of other cultures. And this may lead to international isolation. For discrimination and ignorance other countries, it makes ethnic, national conflict.

Lookism is used at U.S.A column in 1920s first. William Safire, the columnist of New York Times called Lookism for a discriminational fact with race, gender, religion, ideology, and so on. This word is recorded in the Oxford dictionaries. Lookism is a idea that appearance makes superiority, success of life. So it makes obsession of mask. It makes people focus in just appearance not utility facts. But I think appearance is important to self image to some degree. Neat and fashionable people couldn't look negative. But extreme case couldn't justification. So I think proper decorating own appearance may accept, over social agreement couldn't agree.

Most of people love people who are diffrent gender. Man loves woman. Woman loves man. But not all people are doing. A small number of people love people who are same gender to them. This love is called homosexuality. And we call them gay of lesbian. They are unwelcome guests in communities. Most people are reluctant that thare is homo in their own surroundings.

Thinking about the homosexuality is getting better little by little. People`s thinking openly changed. Celebrity Hong Seok-cheon is gay. First of celebrity, he uncovered himself that he is gay. At that time, many people were suprised. there are a lot of these things in overseas. Representatively, Megan Fox who is movie actress of USA is lesbian. But she is loved as best actress. Thanks to them who is brave celebrities recognition about homosexuality is changing.

Marriage that between same genders is legalized in some country or area. Yet, Korea do not endure this marriage. Maybe our country also will change law about gay marriage not far in the future.
