Coercion is not effective in modern society. Why?-Cho Sung an(조성안)

 Coercion is less effective in modern society.
Why??

Before post-industrial society, coercion was necessary. Because it's useful to make people do simple work. In the past, most of work was just simple. Simple and massive production was key point of industrial society. And in agricultural society also needed simplicity.

 But in modern post-industrial society, just simple and massive production is not enough. Core of post-industrial society is variation. So coercion can't make people to make new thing. Spontaneity is important to make and try new thing. In creation, inspiration cannot be created by coercion. So respecting values and thinkings of people is more effective than coercion.
