This week, we learned the Demography. I thought how to use it and what is example. It is interesting that the AGE - SPECFIC data. It is useful and differnt each countries.
Demography
Demography is the statistical study of living human populations. It encompasses the study of the size, structure, and distribution of these populations, and spatical and/or temporal change in them in response to birth, migration, aging and death.
Many sociologist are demographers, and others work with data made available by demographers such as censuses.
AGE - SPECIFIC data
AGE - SPECIFIC DATA is very useful. A population pyramid, also called an age picture diagram, is a graphical illustration that shows the distrubution of various age groups in a population (typically that of a country or region of the world), which form that shape of a pyramid when the population is growing.
