Family of traditional societies are different roles depending on the age and sex
korean society is a confusion society
So father and grandfather are central role of the family
grandfather is head of the family, he judge and select the family problems
father is in charge of the family's livelihood
he usually go out to work outside. Also he is in charge of the children's upbringing
because of father was an authoritarin and patriarchal
However, grandmother and mother usually do housework
A woman was there as a means for survival of the family, not her husband's equal partner comes into her husband's family group.
the cook the food for family and teach the children
women are a limited life then men's lived
men are to be educated, on the other hand, women only learned the house work
(For example, cook, needle work, cleaning, laundry and so on...)
so the unable to participate in politics.
Today, family role limitations weakened
a large family traditional family system has turned into a small family

So, Housework was a thing of the whole family!!
