After divorce, Lucas come back hometown
with his new girlfriend and his son. And he want to live happy with family. And
he became a kindergarten teacher. But his student lie to village people. And he
fight this wrong rumor. Finally this rumor be found out not real. And the rumor
just fizzled out.
My decisive moment of this movie is ending
scene. When Lucas go deer hunting with village people, somewhere bullet pass
Lucas head. When I see this scene, once branded as bad continue forever in
community, like an indelible stain. Movie’s mood is so gloomy. This mood make
more and more immersed in Lucas’s feeling. Lucas’s image reflect our real life.
We don’t look forward to exact truth. We judge truth only depending on real
time news and rumor. We only see the one section of the case. I think that the
more world the more information age, the opportunity to deep thought is closing.
