Robert Rosenthal (pictured above) and Lenore Jacobson conducted a study for Symbolic Interactionism. They began with a group of students with a standard IQ Test. They wanted to prove that if the students would increase their IQ's in the incoming year. After giving the IQ Test they told the teachers of their results and asked to watch and see if the increase did occur. The research showed that when kids are expected to have growth they did. They say this phenomenon, was a false assumption actually occurs because someone predicted it, its called self-fulfilling prophesy.
It is surprise result. Predict make student smart. It say interaction is important in society and all of student have potential.
