What is real host in this movie?
US Armed Forces in Korea throw away poison on Han River,
fish that eat poison be monster. Monster fish kidnap certain poor family’s daughter. And that
family fight mutation fish for save their daughter. I will watch this movie
social sociological eyes. This movie show Korea government that various
corruption and a lot of red tape and only think relation of gain and loss. So
family that mad at incompetent government hazard their life in saving daughter.
In this movie, Korea government is incompetent and corrupt governmental
authority.
And daughter that captured by the monster family is powerless
commoner. I think that movie director want to say real monster is not Han River
host. Real host is corrupt government. These days, In Korea, MERSC [Middle
East respiratory syndrome coronavirus] is very hot social issue because of
government’s faulty initial action. This movie’s work year is 2006, But now
2015, government that the director was seeing nothing differrent.
