why korean males married to foreign females?
The reason the majority of international marriage involve South Korea males married to foreign females is men in countryside exceed the marriageable age. In countryside, there are few young women because young women move to city. Consequently, countryside the gender imbalance appears. So countryside men married foreign women. Also, women to marry a foreigner live in poor country. By marrying ,women's family can get money and unburden concerns for livelihood. However, international marriage means only poor country's marriage but nowdays people to do international marriage are well-informed people. Therefore the reason for international marriage may not be a poverty.
It may be true that all young women leaves the countryside and go the the city, but I think if the young woman goes, young man will also leave to the city. It can't be true that only woman leaves the town.
