Fast development of medicine needs scrifice. Before administering the drug to people, pharmacists experimentsto other animals. When human takes new medicine, if it appear to strange reaction to him, it is a major problem. However, animal experiments isn`t that a problem? From a utilitarian point of view, this is not a problem. Because it pursue majority of happiness. A few number of misfortunes for majority happiness are neglected. Due to the unhappiness of some of the animals, people around the world get the benefit. But I think that this is morally not right.
Do you know marutamachi experiment. This happened by Japanese. Including Koreans many innocent people were killed brutally. Due to this experiment, the Japanese medical technology was developed very much. They received a much criticized. Those subjects got what sin? They died without sin. Likewise, animals that was an experimental are innocent. We must find another way to check that new medicine harmless to human
