The time of the release of coffee spread to Latin America, the slave trade was already rampant. At that time, slavery was used mainly for sugarcane plantation operations.   Today, Africa has been in the spotlight as a world coffee producer. And unlike the situation of former slaves and their past coffee farms directly operating the farm. But these imports compared to the efforts of the farm as they only produce very low. Intermediary traders because of the great powers were to take all the profits. Poor countries coffee growers, under the pretext of aid and investment to ensure the coffee of developed countries, was placed on re-unequal dependency. Similar to the past, the owner of a coffee plantation became the 'slaves indirectly' for the benefit of the major powers.
