I think, There are many things that gendered cultural symbols.
* Boys - Lego, balls, Mini cars, Uniforms , etc...
* Girls - Skirts, High hill, Dolls, etc...
The boys try to express the strong force, aggressive ones play with toys. (Dangerous animals, such as dinosaurs, Fast cars, fake gun etc...) On the other hand, girls or soft or sentimental, like the 'pretty girls' toys. (Princess dolls, play house, to cook a fake etc...)
There is also a difference between men and women's fashion.
The men do not wear a skirt. They wear only long and short pants, skirts can be seen as a representative of the women. It's not the men should not wear skirts, men do not wear a skirt. - I wonder the men wear a skirt free society :-)
The women also wear a lot of high heels. High heels are also referred to as synonymous with women. As such, there are many parts in life are separated by a symbol of a man and a woman.
I recognize the need for symbols, but I wish it did not go away the freedom of people lodged in the frame too.

i wanna suggest one example of gendered cultural symbol. We wear uniform to show our state or authority. I think these uniforms like police and soldier uniforms are especially for man. Out of role of showing their authority, uniform have become gendered symbol nearly only for man...
