What other gendered cultural symbols can we think of?
People generally think that males have to do hard work. Also people generally think that females can’t do hard work. So people think that tough and physical work, such as police and firefighter is male's job. Also symbol of female’s job is limited sensitive job, such as nurse and kindergarten teacher. But Recently these symbols of job (by gender) are disappearing. For example, we can see male hair designer and female police around us. Even we can see male kindergarten teacher. Therefore, People need changed thinking. First, people should not limit symbols of job (by gender). Because restricted thinking of people can be prejudice. Second, people should not use restricted terms such as policeman, fireman and so on. Because these terms are separated a job by gender.

Your blog is neat. In the discussion, the most interesting was occupation for women. As you said, because people thought that the force of women was weak, they do not a hard job. However, such a stereotype attitude is dangerous. By discarding these stereotype, we must agree that it is possible to have women also various professions.
