 What are the characteristics of modern social movements in Korea?

Almost modern social movent characteristics are corncerned with 'Freedom'.
In 1980s, in Korea had'wind of democratization'. It's socia movements that against dictatorship. In 1980s, social movements that wish freedom of politcs are main events. Then, nowadays social movements for people who can't enjoy right are main movements. For example right of female and right of sexual minority is main work.

why electricity is important? 

These days, electric system is very important. When entering electricity, modern civil rapidly develop. Our life can't keep without electricity. In the past, electric dependence is not very big. But now our every system is electricity. So we will live like a primitive man.
