I think that there are many gendered cultural symbols in this society. sports like soccer, football, baseball are regarded as a man's sport. many people have more attention and concentration about man's soccer, football, baseball than woman's. So woman's soccer, football, baseball are unpopular sport.

And in Korea, army and soldier are regarded as a man's duty and symbol. Korean man must be a soldier until thirty age. In contrast, woman don't have any duty or ability about army or soldier. So army and soldier are regarded as a man's symbol. but supporter like nurse regarded as a woman's symbol. It means more aggressive, physical and active behavior regarded as a man's symbol, less aggressive, less physical and less active behavior regarded as a woman's symbol.
