This week, we learned about gender stratification. Gender stratification means that women compared to men with low status. (Superiority or inferiority is determined between men and women..)
And, these discrimination has solidified that a commonplace among members.
Women status was low, restrictions of activities are many from the initial society.
Because women are weak and recessive.
19c feminists demo, lectures, etc., the status of women are many rose,  still gender stratifications present.
For example, the low women's university enrollment rate than men.
In addition, the women and men of culture difference were still exists.

Topic 1. What other gendered cultural symbols can we think of?

 

Gender difference can represent by word and job that can show geder difference.

For example if you recall kindergarten teacher, you will recall a lady who behave modestly.

On the contrary recall about principal. You will recall a man who have a benevolent smile and solemn person.

Like this same type of occupation. men and women can show a clearly difference that exist many stratified deference.
