In this week we learn about "Gender Stratification"

Gender Stratification means between men and women one gender have low status and one gender have high status.
this word "Gender Stratification" usually means a phenomenon that woman's gender had low status in 19 century.
In 19 century. between men and women, discrimination and inequality was exist
today also this stratification remain. this think of gender affect our life before we aware it.

- What other gendered cultural symbols can we think of? -
If you recall a firefighter, you will think a man who put on fire suit not a woman
if think about kindergarten teacher you will recall a kind woman who loves children
people think there are man's job and woman's job
but most of the job have power and money we usually think a man
this is remains of gender stratification that 19 century's think that man superior than woman.
