Intro

 This week, I learned about 'Government'. Usually, I have a interest in politics. So I read a lot of politics-related articles and criticized political issues.  In recent years, political issue that is becoming the most problems is to eradicate the corruption. Since the 1970s dictatorship in Korea, corruption is still prevalent. For example, illegal election expenses for political advancement, raising a slush fund  of companies. But, Politics is not negative. Politics is to solve the dispute between people, plays the most significant role in determining the policy. Like this, politics has a double-sided character.

Topic1 : Is modern democracy really "the will of the people"?

I think that modern democracy is "the will of the people". From dictatorship in the 1970s to the liberal democracy of the 2000s, Korean society has experienced a multiple of trial and error. People wanted a liberal democracy, but it was not possible to achieve the freedom democracy by oppression of dictatorship. People do not retreat and their own will was actively expressed through demonstration and wall newspaper activities. At the end of these conflicts, rather than a superficial democracy, the era of liberal democracy in which all of the opinion is reflected began. Democracy is growth, recognition of people also grow :  voting, public hearings, some activities such as non-profit organizations. I have experience that my political views share other people in the Agora square of 'daum'site. In Agora square, It is possible to exchange ideas with the other party to discuss the social, political problems from various viewpoints. In this way, people can say their opinion through a variety of media. So would be able to fulfill the true democracy. Therefore, I think that modern democracy reflected the will of the people.

Topic2 : Find one of the symbols of Korea used public!!

Pansori is a intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Korea

I think one of the symbols of Korea is 'Pansori'.

Pansori was expressed the hard life of farmers. Pansori was also expressed the sadness of love that can not be done with the past of men and women. During the high school, there was that I went to see the pansori, it was a fresh shock. Unlike general sound such as the pop song, ballad, rock, Pansori had been put feelings of nostalgia is to match the emotion of Korea. The most shock is that I did not well know about Pansori in spite of the Korean. I was examined because I want to know more about Pansori. Korean people know that Pansori has a significant value as intangible cultural heritage. However, Koreans there is no opportunity to touch the Pansori, nor to hear well. In order to further spread the pansori, it is necessary to try to re-configured for a modern emotional. If pop song and pansori were mixing, more and more people know the Pansori and will fall into the charm of Pansori. If I has time on vacation, I will go to see the Pansori.

After an assignment

Through the lesson, I became to know about 'government'. While the assignment, I also became to know that politics has a double-sided character. Finally, it was experience that was able to understand more deeply in democracy in Korea. I was expected what to learn in the next lesson.
