Intro

This week, I learned about "Socialization and social control". Since human beings are social animals, socialization have no choice but inevitably occur. Society structure and function are constantly changing, also changes the quality of life accordingly. Before the modern society, women that advance to the world of politics are criticized for men. However, today women now have a profession such as civil servants, politicians and scientists, the quality of women`s lives was higher accordingly. In this way, society became inevitably socialization, society is constantly developed  rather than fixed.

Topic1 : Can we think of other ways the society tells us how different things are expected from boys and girls?

In Korean society, the role of men and women has been classified. In the past, in school, women learned household, cooking etc. On the other hand, men learned technology, labor etc.
I thought 'ordinary Korea house'. From the Joseon Dynasty, the role of gender is clear. Men go outside and labored to earn money. On the other hand, women taught their childern and kept house.These stereotypes about role of sex followed as if not be seen. Childern who grew up in those environment will expect that the role of men and women is to be clearly distinguished. To solve this problem, recognizing the relationship between men and women to be a horizontal, equal relationship, we need to share a complementary manner role.

Topic2 : Color pink is asscoiated with girl, why?

I think that this question superficially looks easy, but requires more time to think. Girls prefer to pink color than boys. The reason for girls associated with pink is by acquired learning.
Of course, Girls innately is to cherish the softness and sense of stability. However, a much larger impact of acquired learning.
For example, girls is played with a pink of dolls from childhood and saw the drama of girl sensibility. The reason why women is associated with the pink is stereotypes. If I questioned that for girl friends any color prefer, it was answered almost prefer pink. Let`s assume that men use the pink clothes and writing utensils. In Korean society, probably going to be a kind of laughter.
Like this, in the society of women, pink color was solidified as a symbol of only women.
(For another example, Although born as a human, growing up in the animals live environment, human imitate character of animal. This is the story of the wolf boy.)
