Minimum hourly wage happen people have more money because people recive more money in return working. If people have more money, people will use more money. That make actively economic. As a result, Middle-class is larger. That is good situation. Middle class is column of society. Situation there are many middle class is society is well kept.
Social structure is defined by proportion of middle class. First, there are Pyramid structure. Pyramid structure consist of big low class and small middle class and smaller high class. It serious stratified. There are big gap between low class and high class. Seccond is Hourglass structure. Hourglass structure is big high class and bigger low class than hig class and very small middle class. Unstable structure is unstable structure. It have many conflict. Many low class think society is unequality. As a result, this structure is likely collapsing. Last is Diamond Structure. Diamond Structure is the most stable structure. Diamond structure consist of small high class, low class and big high class. This structure have many middle class. This is good thing. This is also the ideal goal.
Stratification makes inequality and makes people feel unfair. but stratification can give us will to be better and go to upper class. Nowadays inequality is so prevalent and serious in degree. 30% of americans have obesity. but thousands of children is dying in 1 second.
