I think that modern democracy is the will of the people. Because people vote representative who realize democracy. Before vote, people think that certain commitment is more democratic. So people listen intently commitment of candidate. Then people select the most democratic commitment of candidate. For this reason, the selected candidates try to listen to the people. Also when undemocratic event happens, people resist about the event through demonstration. For example, Recently, Government decided to stop “free school meals” So people no longer have benefit about “free school meals” Therefore, people resist to decision of government through demonstration. In order to defend their right. People always effort to reflect their opinion in these way. Therefore, The modern democracy can change due to participation of people. If many people express their opinion, the modern democracy will develop. Also representative of people should listen intently opinion of people. Because people is owner of the country in a democracy.
Topic 2 : Would you like to have more say in the political decision making?
I want to talk about decision of Adultery abolition. Adultery is behavior that married person falls in love with another person. I think that the Adultery is illegal. Because Adultery is hurtful and betrayal behavior to their spouse. So I think that people who having an affair also should suffer like their spouse. But government abolished to protect sexual freedom. but I still don’t understand this decision. Because I think thar trust is more important than personal freedom.

I read well your blog. Your blog is neat. I also agree that modern democracy is the will of the people. Modern democracy through vote, hearing, civic organizations strive to reflect the people`s the opinion. Korea is an indirect democracy. So, Korea gives the right to vote to all citizens. Also, Korea gives the opportunity to be able to reflect the people`s the will such as impeachment system, a claim, petition and so on... Therefore, I think that modern democracy is the will of the people.
ReplyDeletewhat you said in topic1 that demonstration is reflecting people's will is a good example. it may supplement the flaw of democracy today. it can help politicians to listen to what people really want. and your idea about adultery abolition is really impresive i totally agree with your idea. the trust is most important thing in all relationships.
