Topic 1: Color pink is associated with girls, why?

I think this is because of social symbolic interaction.

People gave to pink the meaning of lovely thing and womanly thing.

because pink give to person comfortable and warm image.

So why people associated pink color with girls?

It is because of woman want lovely looking and comfortable image.

also cosiness feeling give influence to woman's preference of pink.

So many woman prefer something pink color

pink clothes, pink bag, etc..
and people can see easily woman with pink color item.

In that reason people associate girls with pink color

Topic2 : Can we think of other ways the society tells us how different things are expected from boys and to girls?

There are many thing that different social expect to boys and girls.
This is why man and woman's difference of  social role.
In former generation. It's idea about different social role was strong
So people want to boys and girls behave different. 
social expects make boys behave bravely and girls to carefully

because of different expect boys and girls behave so differently.
boys play with toys and girls play with dolls.
boys do not cry and girls behave carefully.
If boys play foot ball girls do cheerleader. etc..
so many other ways boys and girls behave.
