Topic1 : Color pink is associated with girls, why?

The girls want their appearance to look beautiful to boys. So the girls always effort to adorn their appearance. When the girls adorn their appearance, girls often use color pink. Because color pink is soft and mild. and the boys like the girl who look soft and mild. Also When people were baby, their parents dressed different clothes by the baby’s gender. A baby girl wears color pink clothes. A baby boy wears color blue clothes. So When babies become adults, they understandably think that pink is color of women  

 

 

Topic2 : Can we think of other ways the society tells us how different things are expected from boys and to girls?

 

Our society differently fix the role by people’s gender. For example, People think that the boy has to act bravely, actively and strongly and the girl act feminine, negativity and carefully. I think that these character of gender originated in Confucianism. The different role by gender was emphasized in Confucianism. In Confucianism, the boys mainly did social activities. On the other hands, the girls only stayed at home. So these character still applies in modern society. For example, The man can advance of high level. But the most woman can’t advance of high level. Because the boss in office think that the woman have to housework , after she married.
