Ploygamy is thing that one man gets married with more than one wife at the same time. This has function to maintain authority of the strong male and to keep the relative ties. This type is mainly found in Islamic cultures. traditional marriage in Islam is polygamy. But It is applied only strong and competitive man. Ability man can occupy many woman.
Korea has also been allowed polygamy in the past. In present, polygamy has based that all the wives have equal rights. But at Former Korea, first wife and Second wife had undergone discrimination. Wives that except First wife are called kept woman. Their children also have been discriminated compared to child`s first wife. Being determined life as soon as born is unfair.
In Islam polygamy has rule by law that all the wives have eqyal rights, it has not been abide properly. I think that polygamy is not moral. One man must love only one spouse. And it is strange that one man occupies a number of woman.
