Should Korean government do more to reduce poverty and promote equality? Korean government should try to change the current tax system. The current tax system is tool to ensure rich's property. Because, rich people pay less than poor people through the tax evasion. So the current tax system make a difference in rich between poor. Therefore, Korean government should regulate the tax evasion of rich. Also the government have to collect taxes according to income and use taxes for poor people. In doing so, our society will reduce poverty and promote equality in rich people between poor people.

What is the function of stratification?
Stratification has positive and negative function. First positive function is related to development of society. Because, the lower class try to be the higher class. So the lower class develop own abilities. Therefore, society also develop. Second, negative function is tyranny of the highest class. The highest class ignore the lowest class. They steals labor of the lowest class forcibly. Also the highest class don't help the lowest class economically.

i partially agree with u. i think goverment should take different tax from each classes. i mean that people who earn more money is taxed much and who doesnt is taxed less. korea has rather less inequality rate. but through this system, we can decrease inequality rate more and help more poor people.
