Topic. what is sociology.
First lecture of 'Invitation to sociology' Piotr said in sociology there are no supid question and everything can ask. when I heard it I think 'sociology is very similar with philosophy'
Philosophy and sociology have similarity that they are the base of almost every kind of study.
Sociology can approach almost every thing in life, it's very usefull and powerfull subject
At the first lecture we made groups and discuss some topic
1.Why does fashion changes?
Our group think that fashion change when science technology develop.
because having high level of technic can make more good and more various material.
and another reason is change of people's awereness. human always tired with repetitive fashion
so find new things and make difference with old things. I think this difference change fashion
2 Why is the Starcraft so popular in Korea?
Second we discussed why Star-craft popular in Korea
popularity of Star-craft was very great
this phenomenon may be explained by two reason
one reason is boom of pc cafe. in 2000s in Korea a great number of pc cafe open
and in pc cafe almost every people play Star-craft therefore pc cafe boom can one reason of popularity of Star-craft.
and another reason emerge of progamer. thanks to emerge of progamer Star-craft gamer can be a job,
and many youth dreaming of progamer so Starcraft can be popular game in korea.

ReplyDeleteWell looked at your task for the 'Invitation to Sociology. In topic1, thanks to advances in science technology, where fashion has changed, is similar to my idea. Without the development of science technology, people is because there was no what recognition of fashion. In topic2, Thanks to the advent of professional gamers, StarCraft is popular.(This opinion is similar to me.) because competition of professional gamers is interesting and being given the opportunity to guess the outcome.
