the perspective about religion
In 4th week. Invitation to sociology. we learned about religion.
Religion's history as long as human history and religion universal all around the world.
There are many kind of religion. for example christianity,hinduism,buddhism,muslim etc..
(Jesus christ. christanity's progenitor)
I will explain some defferent perspective about religion
Conflict theory
This theory looks religion negatively.
It's because religion believe in afterlife. it makes people to overlook reality problem
for example the gap between the rich and poor, hierarchy's tyranny.
In a word in conflict theory's perspective. religion make people fool
Functional theory
Functional theory looks religion positively.
They think that religion helps social integration
Functional theory think social as a organism. so they emphasize social integration
Therefore functional theory looks religion positively.
Proportion of world religion believer
The christanity believer's number occupy the biggest proportion.
The Islam occupy the next .the hinduism occupy 3th
this 3 religion main religion of the world.
