Prologue
The second week
Monday: We learned that sociology can be applied to any kind of studies.
Ex)We compared sociology to anthropology, history, politics, economics, science and many other things.
That was really interesting. Because I think their distinct areas.
But there was an association with one another.
Tuesday: we learned about views of prominent sociologists: Karl Marks and Emil Durkheim
Karl Marks
Marx's thoughts on labour were related to the primacy he gave to the economic relation in determining the society's past, present and future see also. Accumulation of capital shapes the social system. Social change, for Marx, was about conflict between opposing interests, driven, in the background, by economic forces. This became the inspiration for the body of works known as the conflict theory. In his evolutionary model of history, he argued that human history began with free, productive and creative work that was over time coerced and dehumanised, a trend most apparent under capitalism. Marx noted that this was not an intentional process; rather, no individual or even state can go against the forces of economy.
Emil Durkheim
A fundamental aim of sociology is to discover structural "social facts".
Establishment of sociology as an independent, recognized academic discipline is amongst Durkheim's largest and most lasting legacies. Within sociology, his work has significantly influenced structuralism or structural functionalism.

Topic 1 : What is more important our genes or our environment?
On average, The Third World countries, Anarchic country have higher crime rates. Because their environment, because no training is performed by mess. This means that the environment affects the person.
<2>
Environment will change for us. For example the air is not good, the greater the atopic patients. Contrariwise atopic patients to long-term medical treatment place at good air.
topic 2: Can you think of examples of charismatic,
traditional and rational-legal leaders of governments in the history of Asia?
I think the most charismatic leader of Asia is King Gwanggaeto. Gwanggaeto is the king who led the Goguryeo's heyday.
Externally: It is dominated by the king the widest land in Korean history. This is a result that he was trained in partnership the tactics directly. He is whereby the evaluation of excellent tactician and loyalty in history strategy.
Internally: He was encouraged in Buddhism. This is to merge the thoughts and opinions of the people together. Also he used to own era called 'Young nak(영락)'. This increases the autonomy of Koguryo, people were so proud.
I agree with your opinion! I think the enviroment is important too.
ReplyDeleteyou interpreted the enviroment as change of the surrounding.
But I interpreted the enviroment as efforts and active support of the surrounding.
Because win a gene when effort have without depending on the gene.
I also agree with your opinion! King Gwanggaeto is one of the person who respect
I agree that king Gwanggaeto is a great leader. Not only in Korea, there are many leaders in the history of Asia. For example, there is Chingiz Khan. Finding leaders not only in Korea, we can find many great leaders.
