I disagree that Korean people are not very religious. Because in Korea, many people go churches and temples. So I think that Korean people are religious. But I agree with remaining opinions. Korean people live in a materialistic generation. So Korean people value hard work to have material. So we can agree with that Korean people value hard work and material. Also in Korea, many people get exercise in health club and eat organic food for their physical wellbeing. So we can agree with the practical opinion that Korean people value physical wellbeing.
Can we think of examples of cultures that were not tolerated in korea in the past but became accepted in recent years?
In the past, mini skirts were not tolerated in Korea, so police men had rulers on the street and measured a length of women's skirt. If a woman's skirt was very short, the woman had to pay a fine or be punished. Also, in the past, cutting hair was not tolerated in Korea. If a person cut his hair, he was criticized because someone's hair meant important thing that his parents leaved. And walking at late was not tolerated in Korea in the past, too. So, police men walked and watched on streets and punished people who walked at night. As a result, past Korean people couldn't wear mini skirts and cut hair and walk at night.
I agree with you because, Of cours Korean people live in materialistic generation so they think that materialism is important to them
