 This week I learned four theoretical perspectives. Those perspectives are functionalism,conflict theory, symbolism interaction theory and exchange theory. 

 I'm most interested in exchange theory and begin to doubt.

 'Is it really possible that all actions that we do in society only on benefit?'

 Then how they explain action from the bottom of our's heart?

 For example. the cases of counterexample are donation and helping people in dangerous situation. I thought deeply how they explain this situation. 

 In the conclusion, exchange theory can explain this situation and any social phenomenon!!!! 

 First example(donation), Although we suffer damage on money but it become much profit on spiritual benefit. It will be appropriated. And spiritual satisfaction through help others and others' positive view are long term benefits.

 Second example (the reason why helping people in dangerous situation in exchange theory), We learned the idea when someone fall in difficult situation through the socialization training. So when we not help someone in dangerous situation we will suffer feeling of guilty about that. And this feeling of guilty is not benefit on us. So we act those right things.

 To begin with, I think exchange theory excessively explain people are selfish social animal, but now I think exchange theory is very proper theory explain social phenomenon.

Topic 1.Do you agree compared to world average Korean people's feature?

Korean people are not very religious.value hard work.value material.physical well being over more spiritual well being.

 I disagree with the idea that Korean people are not very religious.

Because our ancestors had customs that revering someone. And those continue today as Buddhism and Catholicism. So 'not very religious' is not right.

 I agree with value hard work. It's impossible that slow life in Korean people's life. Because the Korea structure must hard work to survive competition. Someone who not hard work will left behind.

 I seriously agree with value material. Koreans really think that they should show people through material things.

Koreans excessively seek material things and neglect nonmaterial things.

For example, Koreans education neglect underlying humanities, philosophy and like education that can make much material things. I agree with Koreans value material but I feel regret about that.

 I agree with  physical well being over more spiritual well being. Because these days people work mental labor more than physical labor.
