2015.03.23~241. What functions religion may have?
This week I learned about the religion.
I have been described in connection with the functional theory, Conflict theory, Symbolic interaction theory learned in last week the religion of function.
Functional theory
Religion role to the social integration.
Religion merge people`s thoughts and opinions of the people together.
Conflict theory
Religion is used as a means of defending the vested people.
Religion impact blindly believe in God.
Symbolic interaction theory
Religion plays a functional meaning at people.
Religions translated by people (each different perspective).
2. Can you think of other examples in how religion can be used to control people?
In Islam to wear hijab when going out.Because the rule that Islam should not be visible in the body of a woman to a man oegan.
In Muslim, do not eat pork.
Forbids them to eat pork in the Bible is 'Koran'.
So the Muslim people do not eat pork according to the Bible
I read well your blog. In topic 1, it was a novelty was approached from sociological point of view. Topic 2, you'll Islam people was easy to understand if you wrote a little more specific about why do not eat pork. In addition, if add your thoughts to the next challenge you to make a great blog.
