Topic1 : Can we think of examples of cultures that weren't tolerated in korea in the past but become accepted in recent years.
First, Mini skirt
Mini skirt is always fashionable in present. But It was banned in the past. It is so short and sexual at that time. So police officer measured the length of women's skirt on the street. If length of woman's skirt is shorter than accepted length, she is punished or pay to a fine. 
Second, Curfew
Today, we can walking around anytime. But in the past. people can't walking freely at night. Because police punished people who walking around after midnight. These curfew was made for citizen's security. So siren announced the time to people. The siren meant "Go home".
Topic2 : Korea is not very religions value hard work, value materiar, physical well-being over more spiritual well-being would you agree?
I disagree this opinion. The korean think that hard working, material, physical well-being is important things. Because people live in capitalist society. So people want material things. But korean don't think that material things more important than spiritual well-being, religious. Forexample, people go to church or temple at weekend to rest. Also When people are hard, people depend god.
I agree with your opinion! korean are work very hard and obsessed with matarialism. The reason for this is that people do not have a religion busy.
