Macro Structures(1) Kim Ik jin(김익진)

TOPIC 1.  : Example of cultures that weren't tolerated in Korea in the past but become accepted in recent years?

In the past, South Korea students went to school even on Saturdays.
And the students had to shorten the hair.
Dyeing was absolutely impossible.
Currently, South Korea students go to school five days a week.
In other words, students do not go to school on weekends.
And the hair length is free, dye is also available.

What is the reason for this change is made,?
Cultures and customs that had been led from the past, people have claimed that they were too old and inhumane.
So people wanted to achieve a more advanced culture.
Because of this reason, the thing that was impossible in the past is possible in nowadays.

TOPIC(2):Korea is not very religious.would you agree?

Opinion that Korean is not religious is inappropriate in modern times.
But I think the percentage of people who believe in religion were small compared to developed countries like US, UK, Germany, France.

(Korean religious population, No religion account for almost half.)

I think there are two reasons why a small proportion who believe in religion.

First, In the past, Koreans had to work on weekends.
Therefore, the vaporization and the environment had little to do religious activities on the weekend.
So there was little religious population.
I think that such practices of the past are handed down today.

Second, In the past, Korea was persecuted the most popular religious Catholics and Christians in the world.
So religion is not good growth compared with other countries.
For this reason, I think Koreans are less religious than in developed countries.
